Harry Potter Pajamas – Why They’re Very Hard, But Not Impossible, To Find
It seemed like such an easy thing at first. I merely wanted to buy my son some kid’s pajamas depicting his favorite characters and images from the Harry Potter series. I thought I’d just pick some up at my local discount super center the next time I bought groceries. I had no idea how wrong this would turn out to be.
The problem was my son decided that he loved Harry and his friends after he read The Chamber Of Secrets over a summer when no Harry Potter film or book releases were on the horizon. The truth is, while it’s possible to get your hands on Harry Potter kid’s pajamas when a book or movie is being promoted, it’s potentially difficult even then. And if you’re looking for Potter pajamas for an adult or teen, it’s even more difficult.
I soon found, after several special trips to and pleas with managers of discount stores, malls and specialty shops, that merchants do not regularly carry Potter items or pajamas until a new movie comes out and even then it’s hard to swoop them up before the other desperate parents find out.
This creates a bit of desperation for parents of children who are wild about the wizards. I have even seen forums where parents desperate for Hogwarts or Hermione sleepwear were willing to buy the fabric and attempt to make them themselves. I am no where near this crafty.
What I’ve learned is that you really have two options. You can (and should) stock up on these pajamas when the books and movies come out. You should also make friends with the search options on your computer, because you’ll need to pounce as soon as a rare pair of simple wizard pajamas becomes available on your screen.
Harry Potter: History and Facts
Harry Potter is fictional character created by J.K. Rowling as part of her popular Harry Potter series of novels. Harry Potter is an orphan who studies magic at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Lord Voldemort attacked Harry’s parents on October 31st in their home when they were attempting to protect Harry. Lily, Harry’s mother saved him by ultimately placing him under ancient magic that protected him, but lost her life in the process. In the series, Harry has two friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, that are there to help him through the trials and tribulations that he faces. Trials and tribulations that includes the normal awkward moments of growing up as well as fighting evil and stopping villains.
The Harry Potter series of books look at many important topics that pertain to growing up. The books include themes like friendship, love, death, prejudice, and courage in a realistic way that kids can learn from them. The books are written as a fantasy based mystery in which the reader learns the secrets of the story at the same time that Harry Potter gains the information. Readers, like Harry Potter, are not able to see the thoughts of other characters until they are revealed through the unfolding of the plot to Harry.
Beyond the book series, there have been movies released that have been among the most popular movie series ever released. Harry Potter is recognized world wide and has a following of fans that travel world-wide to attend lectures and specially planned Potter themed activities. A party featuring Harry Potter theme decorations and accessories would certainly make any child happy. With the last book due to be released in the not-so-distant future, it may be time to consider having a book release celebration. After all, parties don’t have to be just for birthdays anymore.
Casting Call Fraud

There have been several emails going around the internet during the past few months which announce casting calls for the next Harry Potter movies. These e-mails are fake. Many of them require you to submit personal information, and some even request payment. These fake e-mails usually have a subject line that says “YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO AUDITION FOR THE NEXT HARRY POTTER FILM” or something similar. It is not the practice of Warner Brother’s to do casting activity by sending out random e-mails. Currently, Warner Brothers is working with law enforcement officers to investigate where this hoax started and are taking as much action as possible to warn fans and hopefuls about the scam.

The End
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Ending or Enigma?
For Harry Potter fans, July 21 2007 will be a date to celebrate and rue in equal measure. The last instalment of JK Rowling’s spine-chilling Harry Potter series, called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will hit the shelves on this day and ultimately put an end to the phenomenon that has had the world gripped since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone first debuted ten years ago.
The books, which follow the life of social outcast-come-legendary wizard Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione as they battle the evil forces of Lord Voldemort, has had children and adults of all ages enthralled – and the Deathly Hallows looks to be no exception. The title of the book was thrillingly revealed via a hangman puzzle on Rowling’s website on December 21 2006 and the author reportedly finished the book while staying in Edinburgh’s famous Balmoral Hotel – carving a concluding note on a marble bust in her room which reads: “JK Rowling finished writing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in this room.”
But what can Harry Potter fans expect from this final tome in the Harry Potter series? As always, Rowling has remained tight-lipped, but has expressed deep satisfaction with the closing of the book. In an interview, she claimed:
“While each of the previous Potter books has strong claims on my affections, ‘Deathly Hallows’ is my favourite, and that is the most wonderful way to finish the series.”
Even the term ‘Deathly Hallows’ has caused consternation amongst many Potter-philes eager to shed some light on the book’s conclusion. While ‘hallow’ is generally used as a verb in the English language, Rowling uses it as a noun in her latest title – although it is still generally seen to have overtones of its original meaning – “to make holy or sacred”.
While it’s expected that readers will learn more about Harry’s family – in particular the relationship between Harry’s mother Lily and his aunt Petunia – it’s also likely that more will be revealed about other key characters, including Professor Snape; apparently a murderer but whose loyalties still remain in doubt, and Peter Pettigrew – a former friend of Harry’s father’s who carried out a terrible betrayal which is said to have cost Harry’s parents their lives.
But while the plot of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows may confound critics and fans alike, it’s certain that the book will be one of the fastest selling of all time. In fact, so many people have decided to pre-order Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows that major retailers – including Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Border – are currently reporting that they’ve received more orders for the book than any other in history – a victory that’s sure to stand the series in good stead over the course of time, whatever the final verdict on its plot may be.
