Half-Blood Prince Set for Release this Year !

without comments

Scheduled for release last year, it was re-scheduled for July of 2009 which may have something to do with the division of the last installment to the series “Deathly Hallows” into two parts to prolong the mystery of the story. Many years in the making, the movies have long been overtaken by the books J.K. Rowling had released. In Half-Blood Prince, it is revealed that a death is to happen as the movie ends. Not our main characters and even their supporting cast who continue to battle with adolescence as they grow into their adult lives made ever more dangerous by knowledge that Voldemort may just be around the corner
The aim of the movie was to show the increasing grip the ‘Dark Lord’ is gaining on both worlds and this is made apparent by attacks carried out by the dark forces. Looking into the past of the dark one, our heroes try to find his Achilles Heel which may be very useful to Harry when he has to face him for the final battle which may decide who is to rule the muggle and magic worlds. Harry’s long protector Professor Aldus Dumbledore is killed as the movie reaches its climax and Professor Snape, the long ally is revealed to be the Half-Blood Prince, called upon again by the Dark Lord to carry out his deeds.

There will be two parts that Warner Bros. will be making for the seventh and final book of Harry Potter, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” The first part will be released in 2010 and the second part will follow the next year. This decision extends a movie contract that has taken $4.49 billion in worldwide ticket sales or an average of $897 million for each of the five films, this according to Box Office Mojo. It might be a great way to prolong a franchise because fans are still crazy about such an idea. The additional film will help bring visitors as well to the Harry Potter theme park that Warner Bros. is planning to open with NBC Universal next year.
